About James W. White, Jr.

James W. White, Jr. concentrates his legal practice in business law, real estate, estate planning and administration. He is licensed and certified in the State of Ohio and the United States Federal District Court.

Mr. White maintains a private law practice representing individuals and business clients. He also serves as receiver or Special Master for certain creditors and courts with responsibilities that include oversight, evaluation, management and disposition of assets for various business and commercial real estate projects.

Prior to establishing his law practice, Mr. White served as senior vice president, Real Estate Management, and vice president, Governmental Affairs, for Society Bank & Trust, now KeyBank. His responsibilities included handling an extensive portfolio of complex commercial real estate projects owned by the bank, as well as oversight for corporate legislative matters in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.

Jim is a member of the Ohio and Toledo Bar Associations where he served as co-chair of the Toledo Bar Association Grievance Investigation Committee. He also serves as presiding chair of the Toledo Public Schools Building Oversight Committee and is past president of the University of Toledo Alumni Association Board of Trustees.

A native of Toledo, Ohio, Mr. White graduated from the University of Toledo with a juris doctor degree and a dual undergraduate major in management and finance.
